This all started because a customer brought in a jigsaw puzzle to frame and had to cut off the sides to fit it into a pre-made frame, and I loved the fact that they cut off the signature. The situation reminded me of an Archie comic in which Jughead was framing a painting for Veronica's dad and he cut off the signature to fit it into the frame; turned out the signature was "Picasso". That always made me laugh.
